Founded in 1996, Karamtara Engineering Limited is a manufacturer of renewable energy and power transmission products. Its portfolio features solar mounting structures (fixed-tilt and trackers), overhead transmission line fittings, and lattice towers capable of up to 1,200 kV lines, with over 0.5 million MT supplied globally as of September 30, 2024. It also produces specialized fasteners for solar, wind, transmission, automotive, and telecom applications. Expanding into wind energy, the company plans to operationalize a tubular turbine tower manufacturing facility in Q1 FY2026.
As of March 31, 2026, Karamtara exports to over 50 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Latin America. Its operations are supported by strong backward integration, including India’s largest in-house solar galvanizing facility (258,000 MTPA) and rolling mill furnaces, driving cost and supply chain efficiency. Demonstrating consistent commercial demand, the company served 48, 73, and 65 solar product clients across Fiscals 2024, 2025, and 2026, respectively.
