Bonfiglioli Transmissions Ltd is a leading Indian power transmission and industrial drive solutions provider that designs and manufactures high-precision gearboxes and drive systems. Its extensive product range includes low to heavy-duty gear motors, planetary and worm gearboxes, electric motors, variable frequency drives, and precision drives for robotics and automation.
The company serves three primary market segments: Industry and Automation Solutions, Off-Highway Mobility, and the Wind Industry, holding a major position as a gearbox manufacturer for OEMs and end-users in India. It operates three manufacturing plants across Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, which produced over 341,133 gear motors and gearboxes in Fiscal 2025. Backing its operations is a robust global supply chain with 285 suppliers, including 215 in India and 70 overseas. Bonfiglioli maintains a strong domestic presence with 71 customer touchpoints across India as of June 30, 2026, comprising its three manufacturing sites, 13 sales offices, 13 third-party service centers, and 44 authorized dealers with 54 outlets to ensure reliable after-sales support.
