The NSE International Exchange (NSE IX) plans to give Indian investors access to shares across 30 global markets, according to a release issued by the bourse on Wednesday. The window to invest in those global markets will be accessible in the next three to six months, NSE IX’s Managing Director and CEO V Balasubramaniam said, according to multiple media reports.

Global Stock Market Today
- US equity markets ended higher in range 0.63% to 1.26%.
- European equity markets too ended higher in range 0.47% to 1.16%.
- Asian equity markets are trading mix.
- GIFT Nifty is trading up by 60 points, Nifty futures likely to open around 25670 levels.
The benchmark Nifty index ended higher at 25482 spot levels after adding 58 points to ts previous closing values.
Broader markets outperformed the benchmark as Mid and Small cap indices gained 0.58% & 0.94% respectively.
Majority of sectoral indices, tracked at NSE, ended higher. Amongst them, Nifty Metal was the top performer, rose over 2.5% followed by Auto, Pharma, Healthcare and IT index that rose over 1.5% each. On the other hand, FMCG, PSU Bank and Realty index ended with marginal loses.
Technically, Nifty index is hovering in a downward sloping channel formation with immediate supports around 25200 spot levels and resistance around 25750 spot levels. Going ahead, we uphold our sell on rise trading approach on Nifty index as long as the index trades below 25750 spot levels; any bounce towards 25650 spot levels may attract intraday selling interest.
Derivatives Overview & Outlook
Nifty, Banknifty and Finnfity futures remained almost unchanged on the price front, whereas on open interest front, Banknifty and Finnifty futures added around 8% & 12% of open interest while Nifty futures shed around 2.5% of open interest.
On the sectoral front, Metal, Finance, Oil & Gas and select IT stocks witnessed maximum addition of long positions, whereas some short buildup was seen among Telecom and Infra stocks.
On options front, call writing was seen at multiple strikes. Maximum positions are at 25600 CE and 25500 PE implying resistance around 25700 spot levels and supports around 25360 spot levels.
Institutional Trading Activity
Yesterday, FIIs bought stocks worth Rs 2992 Cr in the cash segment, bought index futures worth Rs 268 Cr and also bought stocks futures worth Rs 1358 Cr. DIIs too were net buyers in the cash segment to the tune of Rs 5119 Cr.
