- Overall gold (Jun) can move in range of 92700-94000 while silver (May) also can move in range of 95000-97000.
- On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump said he does not see tariffs on Chinese imports returning to 145% after the 90-day pause, adding that he believes Washington and Beijing will have a deal.
- Traders await the Producer Price Index data, due on Thursday, for cues about the Fed’s interest rate trajectory. The market is expecting 53 basis points of rate cuts this year, starting September.
BASE METALS
- In base metal counter, Copper prices can trade on upside path as it can move in range of 855-862. Base metal prices in London showed varied performance on Wednesday, as investor caution persisted despite a temporary pause in the U.S.-China trade conflict, which has weighed on the global economy and financial markets. Copper inventories in warehouses tracked by the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) totaled 80,705 tons, with a slower rate of decline helping to ease supply concerns.
- Aluminum prices can trade on upside path as it may move in range of 235-245.while lead may also move in range of 175-179.
- The United States and China also announced an agreement to significantly reduce reciprocal tariffs and implement a 90-day suspension of actions.
ENERGY
- Crude oil may trade on firm path as it can move in range of 5350-5420. Oil prices held near two-week highs in early trading on Wednesday, supported by an agreement between the U.S. and China to temporarily lower their reciprocal tariffs and a falling U.S. dollar.
- The two largest economies on Monday agreed to pause their trade war for at least 90 days, with the U.S. cutting tariffs to 30% from 145% and China slashing duties on U.S. imports to 10% from 125%.
- The market was supported by reported declines in U.S. gasoline and distillate inventories, a sign of resilient fuel demand. Gasoline inventories fell by 1.4 million barrels and distillate stocks fell by 3.7 million barrels, market sources said on condition of anonymity, citing American Petroleum Institute figures on Tuesday. However, crude stocks rose by 4.3 million barrels.
- Natural gas may trade on mixed path as it can move in range of 302-315.
