  • Overall Gold (Dec) can move in range of 123500-126000 while silver (Dec) can move in range of 154000-157000.
  • Fed Governor Stephen Miran said on Monday a 50-bps rate cut would be appropriate for December, noting that inflation is falling while the unemployment rate is drifting higher.

BASE METALS

  • In base metal counter, Copper (Nov) prices can trade on upside path as it can move in range of 1005-1016. Copper prices climbed on Tuesday, as a potential resolution to the U.S. federal government shutdown lifted market sentiment, while fresh production data reinforced expectations of tighter supply next year.
  • Copper prices also gained support from reduced output at Chile’s state-owned miner Codelco, which produced 7% less metal in September, according to data from copper commission Cochilco.
  • The U.S. Senate passed a bill to end the longest government shutdown on Monday, pending approval from the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Speaker Mike Johnson has said he would like to pass it as soon as Wednesday and send it to U.S. President Donald Trump for signing into law.
  • Aluminum (Nov) prices can trade on mixed path as it may move in range of 271-276.while Zinc (Nov) may move on upside path as it may trade in range of 300-307.

ENERGY

  • Crude oil (Nov) may trade with mixed path as it can move in range of 5280-5400. Oil prices dipped in early Asian trade on Tuesday, trimming gains from the previous session as oversupply concerns outweighed optimism over a potential resolution to the U.S. government shutdown.
  • The longest government shutdown in U.S. history could end this week after a compromise that would restore federal funding cleared an initial Senate hurdle late on Sunday, though it was unclear when Congress would give its final approval.
  • Earlier this month, OPEC+ agreed to increase December output targets by 137,000 barrels per day, the same as for October and November. It also agreed to a pause in increases in the first quarter of next year.
  • Natural gas (Nov) may remain on volatile path as it can move in range of 390-403.
