Selling stayed in place in chana market due to favourable weather conditions in Northern India. The market sources stated that the daily arrivals were reported in the range of 12 motors at Delhi. Supplies have been around the same mark in recent weeks. The latest data compiled by government agencies have reported 20 lakh tonnes of chana stocks maintained by NAFED. The chana prices in Lawrence Road have been reported at Rs 4250-4300 per quintal.
