Commodities Buzz: Canada Iron Ore Exports Rise For 2016

According to Statistics Canada data showed in December of 2016, Canada exported 2.98 million tons of iron ore, fell by 6.1% compared with the same period of 2015. Among them, Canada exported 537,029 tons of iron ore to France; followed by Japan was 483,530 tons; China was 493,501 tons, respectively. In January-December of 2016, Canada's iron ore exports totaled 41.04 million tons 8485 tons, increased by 10% compared with the same period of 2015.
